hi basically i have a 1.4 mk2 furio.
wanted to know if i was to swap the mk2 vtr same year bottom end with the 1.4s would it make any difference and be worth it.
as ive heard that the only difference with the two engines is the bottom end.
thanks

if you have access to a bottom end then you should have access to just drop a full vtr lump in, why wast time farting about cost more than its worth.

lolll
i wanted to do this because i have a vtr engine which is from the same year as my furio however have not got the ecu or loom for that engine
so would i be able to swop the engines without needing to change the loom and ecu ?

furios are a 1.4 and VTR 1.6, so yes you would need the ecu, the loom should be the same...

so much easier to just bung a whole vtr lump, would only take a few hours. Plug and play jobby with the loom and ECU. The 2 lumps look identicle for Mr. Plod aswell.
Just so happens im selling one ;)
