What you can do mate is the same as mine.
Buy a full BTB exhaust.
then get a standard cat with one end re-welded to the right diameter.
this is what I have for MOT and run decatted normally.

Can you not just use the BTB centre section and backbox?

is it the MK2 manifolds that have the cat built in ?, if so could you not use a mk2 manifold with the cat in and still use the BTB exhaust>

Ads, its a decat system.
if you want a cat to fit you need to reweld a different end on the cat.

BTB is a manifold back system with a silencer in place of the cat.
You would need to cut the first box out and have a cat welded in its place.
yates mk2 :P

i sold my spare bent system years back sadly dude.
its very rare people will sell off part of the system. Just get a second hand one thats been mangled slighty at the front (eg had front box cut out) for some reason people do this at times. Then get a cat welded in, well a quick release cat like on mine, then can swap them in 10mins.

Piper exhaust systems are beasts for noise man, look into them instead. cheaper and can be bought easier.

That's what I have on mine, which is why I asked if it was for looks or performance. Looks pretty much identicle at a glance. Viper offered to buy my "BTB"
If I were not so honest I would have sold it to him.

It's quite "meaty". Don't like it myself, but that's down to the fact I'm driving a pretty much otherwise standard VTR

because its not a waste if they prefer the note and style of the BTB ;)
why waste money on your saxo, when you could buy a better more capable car>

a few were made in a cut tip like my system however these are rare. Most came with the oval rear pipe similar to the OE system just slighlty enlarged.
