Drain it again, warm up some water in a kettle but dont boil it and poor it in. Leave it for a bit. You might need to do this twice to get the system warm enough to fully unblock the engines water tracts. If they havn't cracked that is.
You could also drain the oil out at the same time, get 3.5 litres of new oil and warm it up as hot as you can without making the kitchen stink then put it in with the warm coolant water.
Leave them for 10-15 mins and try starting again. Once its started keep a close eye on the engine temps. Try not to let it get above 3/4's if it starts to heat rapidly.
And dont forget to put antifreeze in it before you let it cool down.

you should do a cook book
"heat 3.5 ltrs of oil and add the water, then leave to gently simmer for 10-15 mins"
sorry just made me chuckle

you could also leave an electric heater in the engine bay to let it heat up for an hour or so, this should thore any ice

This is why you should check your engine before you go for drive anywhere,e.g oils, anti freeze...........:y::p
