hello guys i need some advice before i part with any notes!
i have a 1.4 8v engine which has done only 18000 miles. and yes its the furio model so for a 1.4 its nippy.

but i was looking around for some serious boost. i had a look at turbos and superchargers and decided to go for superchargers as i am told they only operate when u put ur foot down and they don't cause as much wear on ur engine. so thats my reason for a supercharger.

now then.
i looked into a sight called http://www.electronicturbosystems.com/

and was drooling at the generation 3 supercharger. after e-mailing the company with the details of my engine and if i could fit a superchrager, what is best etc etc.
i got a reply from their site. the company adivsed me word for word.

"Hi There,
The Generation superchargers are universal and will fit on your saxo 1.4, also you will feel the difference from the product.

The Generation 1 or 2 will generate boost throughout the entire rev range. the Generation 3 will create too much boost for your engine, I recommend the 2.

Hope this helps,

for any more info, Please do not hesitate to contact us,

Kind regards,

so guys for the amount of money the generation 2 supercharger is, is it really worth it? coz i really wanna get it.

but what i'm worried or would like to know. do i need to uprate anything?? i.e clutch etc or will my car perform fine with basic equipment with the supercharger attached?

(note i hav got induction kit, alloys, exaust jsut to make my car a lil but lighter and fater).

plz help as i don't want to hav the supercharger blow up my engine!

p.s if i need to uprate my front disc's that fine i'll buy some black diamond discs the same day i order the super charger.

oh dear lord, please tell me that is not an "electric" supercharger please please.

And dont you even dare purchase it what a lot of rubbish. Yes things would need uprated, a whole number of things and of course a supercharger will place extra strain on the engine

if you want to go supercharger do it with an actual belt driven supercharger, best in the game at it > http://www.gmcmotosport.co.uk (http://www.gmcmotorsport.co.uk)

first things first mate.
Insurance..How old are you, and do you think insurance will be ok on a boosted car ?

Secondly, dont bother boosting a 1.4. Drop a VT lump in there, then go onto turbo/super charging it.

forge pistons to be on the safe side aswell is what i would go for, depending on how far you want to take it it would be best off to go for a bigger bore exhaust, but dont bother doing the 1.4 engine mate smileys/smiley17.gif
