More than likely bent atleast 5 or 6 valves if cambelt has snapped!

yes, if you havre bent the valves they have to be gorund out and new ones in, thats presuming nothing else is damaged

Your always on here late like me lol. I prefer the forums at this time tbh.
For an average engine on average mileage and condition your looking at about £350.
Or you could find a done up engine cammed, tb's, standalone etc for well into four digits £,£££

I paid £520 for mine 13 months ago. Had only done 24k and had a new cambelt fitted before it was shipped to me. Pretty hard to get hold of though cause everyone wants them.
Ive got an engine for sale- no gearbox though. From a late 2001 98bhp VTR. It's done 76k miles, new cambelt 15k ago, starter motor, alternator, manifold and cat all still attached. Oh and a drivers drive shaft lol. Reguarly self serviced, no knocks, runs brilliantly.

i would say its more than likely fucked
and if you have smashed the valves there could be damage to the pistons and the head itself
if your lucky itll be a case of new valves in your head
if your unlucky most of the motor is ruined
you wont know really till you take the head off
