faster road cams

just wondering what sort of work would need to be done to put one of these in my car...would it just be a straight swap? And what sort of gains would i be looking at on VTR

Parts to fit a mild road cam.

Head gasket set.
Head bolts.
Cam belt kit.
The cam it self.
Engine oil.
Oil filter.
Coolant.
New cam locating fork (if old one is warn)
New rockers (many people don't but its advisable especially on a high mileage or mistreated engine. Is also required if trying to put anything but the mildest road cam in a later model roller rocker saxo engine as you will have to swap to solid lifted as fitted in the early engines as standard)

Wilder cams may require uprated valve springs, vernier pulley and/or remap depending on its actual spec.

Also best to give it a oil change soon after you have fitted a new cam. Defiantly within the first 3000 miles.
