Only thing that annoys me about buses is that they just pull out of you. Dad says they have right away, as I remember when I was a kid all buses around here had the sticker.

Please let the buses pull out.

Why?

I don't want to give them right away, sometimes I do and 99% of the time, they say thankyou which is nice.

15th January 2009, 11:55
Well I've been gettin the same coaches to work for the last 7.5 years, so I'm use to the way they drive!

Sometimes they really suprise us and manage to sqeeze the coaches through the tightest gaps and we're like "How the fcuk did he do that without taking the side of the coach off?"... so they are very good drivers!!

see, i have proved that hardly anyone actually appreciates us!
we give cheap and free tavel for those who need it, it takes alot of concentration and you need to know the size of your veichle very well. when your carrying 80 people on a double decker, its serious business....yet people disrespect us and hink were below them

I just don't understand why they should have right away, IMO it's just another vehicle on the road like my car.

Not having a go, just that annoys me lol. If I'm a decent distance behind, I'll flash them out but if I'm just approaching behind them, then I'll go round.

All this bullshit everyone talks about people claiming the rock and roll dole for doing jack all is pointless. As much as I hate people who use the system to live off when they don't even try to find new employment, all this chatting about it will never change it.

It's the way society is these days.
I go to work at 7am, get home at 5, 4 days a week and college on mondays 8-6.
I get £180 after Gordon Brown has taken his tax to pay all the lazy cunts in this country.

Those who claim the dole, most of them work anyway for cash in hand and will earn more than me anyway.

But I can't change the way the country is run, wish i could because I'd shoot every single one of those twats claiming the dole.

oo nice comment there i just hope you lose your job when you have a morgage and kids and see how far u get without claiming off benefits... idiot

There are loads of jobs where you can earn good money, though it takes time to get there as you have to learn the trade.
I used to contract as a creative artworker. Not a bad paying job at £20-25 p/h
Worked at some cool places like Sega and Three mobile but it took 10 years to build up my skills and reputation enough to get those jobs. Money was good when I had it but it would be mixed with bleak times too.
decided I wanted to start my own business to keep my interest in the modified car scene and now have no money, but lots of potential i think,
The best thing is I have something i enjoy doing and i deal with people every day who are as enthusiastic. I've never worked so hard or so many hours but its still fun....

Find a job you enjoy, if you are paid enough to still enjoy life then you are doing ok.
There will always be someone earning more and spending more on expensive things, but life isnt all about that.

I spend all my time talking about that stuff. If i tell people outside of work that i work in Agency again, it's the only topic that they want to speak to me about. Get's a little boring. Hence why i come on here and have a bit of banter. If not i'd end it now!

I also get a little bored of people constantly saying... "ooo, your lucky to have a job, your quiet." Yes we are but i work for a very good company who shouldn't have any problems!

ye i get that shit all the time

"ooooo your an estate agent difficult times blah blah loose your job blah gordon brown"

i cant take the negativity of this country sometimes people need to cheer up. if i didnt know about the credit crunch i would not have a clue about any financial crisis i still get paid the same?

i work for c2c (owned by national express). shoebury to fenchurch street.

my mates date works for them and told me to apply.

its quite hard getting in, you have loads of tests to do, psychometric test, medical, etc. the failure rate is very high. (out of 15 people doing the tests the same day as me, i was the only one to get through, luckily) and you have 4 months of traing which your have a test every week during this time, then a final 2 day assessment at the end. lol

its such a secure job though, so i would recommend applying if you can.

bare in mind though, you only have 2 attempts to do the psychometric tests. if you fail twice, you cannot apply to drive on any railway in the country, ever again.

I work in missile warning and space tracking.

It's about £30,000 a year plus overtime, which is an extra £300 for every shift.

The shifts are 12 hours at either 8am-8pm or 8pm-8am, which can sound shit but it means 219 days off a year in theory.

Finishing work at 8am after a 12 hour shift isn't for everyone though because it screws your body clock up quite badly.

I doubt he would be cutting it and bagging it. At most he will of been spliting and weighting nothing else. 6k isnt a lot of money for selling if your in the right city/place.

You could probs make that in 4 month doing the run and bringing it back to the proper dealer from the city on the westside, not to the little boy supplying his boyfriends.

To think i almost missed this...

First off, thanks for the compliment - it's been a while since i've been referred to as a "massive bellend".

Secondly, my comments were in jest. I work. After my engineering degree and post-grad law i practised as a barrister for 4.5 yrs (paying hugely more than my fair of tax), before moving to a Director post advising on the technical and legal aspects of manufacturing growth company acqusitions.

Thirdly, your records are nothing to be proud off. In fact your company is guilty of gross negligence allowing you to work 66 hours in 3 days, and 100+ hours in a week. It contravenes 1998 WTD and 1996 Employment Rights Act. You have 3 years to file a claim and you'd be looking at a four figure pay out.

So Gouldy, my unemployment friend, i'd like to actually thank you for coming...

PS I wasn't, at any stage, belittling those on benefits through misfortune - you should be commended for working so hard to find further employment.
PPS A friendly judge, Judge MacDuff ruled in 2006 that libellous comments on MB's are as valid as those printed in newspapers...

Apprentice in mechanical engineering, £4.77p/h, which is balls.

Might be adding a tig welding unit to my coarse, if your looking for good money, tig is it. The right place, with plenty of work your set. I know a couple of tig welders, £16p/h normal hours, £21ph overtime and £26 on sundays irrc...

Personally, i couldn't work in an office nor tesco and anything else where i have to mind my language and deal with idiots who aren't quite sure of arse from elbow.

My wage should goto about £8-9 p/h when qualified.

Firstly. I wasnt calling you a little boy btw I was reffering to little time drug dealers actually dealing in 1 or 2 grams. People that do the run as i mentioned. Take the drop off to people that deal to those dealers (who supply small amounts) They is some serious money trafficing the drugs around the UK. Hence my comment.

Secondly, you mention...

never mind getting the stuff getting it cut up right ( coke is nomally 30 to 35 percent pure the rest is pro plus, fete, paracetamol etc etc..) then bagging it all up and distributing all off the radar

as part of the profit the guy would be making. Thats why i said he wouldnt be doing it as you suggested. Especially for that type of profit. I dont think you will find mnay dealers in the uk that actually cut up the drugs and i dont mean the small dealers mixing it with stuff to give bigger bags ;)
