not too sure on the guides m8, try a search is what i'd say but its not as hard as you'd think if you generally know what your doing with anything your doing lol, main problem most cross is tool required, get yourself a haynes manual and read up on it, step by step guide with evrything you require, if you feel confident go for it

unless you know what your doing i wouldnt play about tbh. you will need for it to be sent off and pressure tested and possibly skimming if need be.. thats like £100
i'd buy a new head set instead of just the head gasket as you get all the seals and gaskets you need..
if you buy all the parts (cost me £85) like new oil filter. antifreeze oil timing belt etc..and you get it done at a garage they should charge ya around 200 250 if u supply the bits...

i kno how to pull an engine to bits because i did it in collage but the problem was it was just on a scrap engine on the floor, not one in a car that runs ( thats wigan&leigh collage for ya) lol,
o and think you get a set of bolts with that set on ebay, ive got quite a few tools so what tools are required?
and will the timeing need doing?

in answer mate it will need timing, but a haynes should cover that, most exotic tool youl need is a torque wrench for tensioning the head bolts, but if your not confident dont do it as timing it wrong can fuck your top end, end of the day ive never seen a diesel pug over 3 year old that hasnt eneded in tears tbh mite jus be me tho lol
