cars just done 70k is it worth fitting a cam belt kit, or will a belt alone just do ?
opinions on this ?

belt should be fine, have a look and decide once you have the cover off

but then if ur tentioner goes..its just as bad..
id recommend putting a new tensioner in if u can afford it..

yeah i recomended a kit as i can get a genuine citroen cambelt kitt for 76.94.. so may as well.
I had the car before him, and i kept everything geniune i prefer it. looks better as well when u come to get sell and my bonus is i can get it all cheap through work

not bad..but there only 79 bucks for a genuine kit on 106parts.com

dont mess about mate, get the kit. i would do water pump aswell.

yes exactly the same engine...tbh the continetial one has been recommened to me..bit cheaper but good quality etc..

may aswell do the lot mate, the last thing you want is to go through all the work of doing the cambelt, or cost of getting it done and then have the tensioner go
