ive noticed that when ive been starting my car recently it sounds like the battery is dyeing but i know its not, then today i drive to work only to find when its time to come home it wont start. just a click.
immobiliser is fine and the click seams to be coming from the starting motor?
is this a common thing to go wrong where can i get a secondhand one and how hard is it to replace?
or is it just easyer to take it to a garage?
cheers mike.

Starter Motor is bolted to the back of the engine with a couple of cables to it. It's easy enough to do, can be a bit awkward to get to though if i remember.

you get to the starter from the top not underneath.

before removing it try tapping it with a mallet etc... as it usually sorts them.

Wacked it quite alot went slow then sped up and seems fine at the mo. see how it goes.
had to take all bits off the top to get to it looks like it would be fun to try and remove can only see two bolts.
see how it goes though. cheers for your help guys.
