i think its got a gasket/oil seal, but don't quote me on that.

well i might be getting some of a mate cheap. then take em to work to get painted. easier than taking mine off and not been able to use car

how much do they go for cam covers these days?

J4 covers have a beading in them from the factory, this is the seal most people bugger these and use sealent.

JP4 have a rubber seal, although mine shat oil everywhere so need to sort a new seal lol

so when i removed them its best to have baught some sealer incase i need it

no need, just aslong as you didnt muller the beading.

I had my J4s removed for my JP4s, stored them for a week protected then refitted the J4s and no leaking

the beading on the underside of the covers, i just stored them in bubble wrap
