variable superchargers???

have heard that variable superchargers are now being sold, these are superchargers that can be switched on/off from the dash meaning that you have the power when you need it and can turn it off when you don't.

Does anyone else know of this or have any further info?

rubbish, a supercharger is belt driven from the crank.
