most guys who get rallye inlet get the 1.3 metal inlet
the 1.6 had a plastic the same as the vtr mark 2 iirc

get on rallye reg to see how to wire it up properly.
use the metal inlet which most people drill and tap a hole in the end of for the sensor

was thinking bout it like lol i have all the gear and have done similar stuff in the past, was thinking bout port matching my original mani but then decided on the ph3s so i need the rallye mani any way, do you know of anyone running these cams on a vtr, dont really know what to expect, ive gt a healthy engine and its only on 62k
also , is there a how to guide to fitting and wiring the rallye mani? if not i may look into taking some piks and and writting 1 up, could be of some help to a few people on here as ive seen it asked about from time to time

Lad on 106oc & RR Dan C had it on his cam'd quicky running a rallye inlet for a short while, before he sold up.
He said it idled fine, and pulled like a train rather rare though to find one or not easy, 1.6 S2 rallye had same inlet as vtr not a metal one.

Better off checking the port spacing on your head first.
As i'm sure a Mk2 Silvertop is the wrong spacing - unless its a very early single plug one.

yeah mines a 2000 90bhp silver top with single plug ecu

spacing needs to be like this 00 00 late vtrs are wrong and are like this o o o o you can check with out taking it off just go and have a look at your inlet manifold.

Leeds106 managed to get one running, but he had a 3 plug ECU, tis rare for it to work with no worries though.

hope tihs helps a bit, i am going to use this when i fit my rallye inlet, but this is just a basic guide though mate, another good bet is to ask some one who has done this before and get some advice from them about wiring, i did this aswell lol just to be safe
