Hi guys I have 97 VTS-1.6-16V. As you know it's 120hp standard. My modifications are:
Supersprint Exhaust Manifold,
Pug Sport Group A 60mm exhaust system, with back box,
Wossner forged piston,
Light weight flywheel,
Custom made Throttile Bodie,
Newman Cams Ph3,
Head made on exhoust and inlet,
Re-maped ECU,
Custom made gerabox (little short then standard),
Pipercros Viper induction kit,
What do you think how much Bhp I have? And What do you think I need to do Next? :y:

Your only sure way is to arrange a Dyno test on a Rolling Road.
Check your Regional Meet sections for the next test day :)

Yes I'm using a different single throttle body, no throttile bodies from bike.

Yes that way is the best, but in Macedonia-Europe we don't have Dyno test :wall: and you now what? We have only 5-6 VTS in all country

Next would be brakes & suspension with a side order of weight loss.

You could be running anywhere from 140bhp-180bhp depending on the setup and tuning.
A rolling road unfortunately is the only way to know for 100% :(

No they told me that I should get around 11bhp. And what do you think, what to do on my next step to get more Bhp?

who told you lol?
also depends how good the map is.
next step would be headwork or bodies. this is where it gets expensive though. otherwise get some quality suspension and brakes. maybe a diff

Yesss bodies, but I'm afraid whether they will working well, becouse in Macedonia we DON'T have people who know how to re-map the car, so that is my biggest problem. :wall::wall::wall:

youll have to plan to drive over for a holiday here and get your car done lol.
bodies will be a lot of money though for not much power gains on their own. but thats NA tuning

Yes thats NA tuning. Sometimes I think to go with Turbo, but should start from the beginning. And that is a lot of money and a lot of work. I probably forgot to notes that I have a Nitrous. ;) but I use it only when I have a close fight on the streets :p

iīd say about 150 but with a very high power range...why donīt you buy a camshaft, instead of the 60 exhaust? take a 50exhaust of SS!
with camshafts uīll have more power at better rpm and not only in the last 2000! :)

I have camshafts newman Ph3, and I have SS racing exhoust 50cm but is not installed. Do you think that I will have more power with SS? Thanks

sorry if u canīt understand me...
itīs not making any difference if ss or not, but a 60 exhaust will keep the torque very high from 5000rpm to the end and before, the car will be a little dead...if u use it only on track, there will be no problem...but in a dayuse it could be also annoying...
with a 50exhaust the power will be better distributed on the range

Do you like to say that car with SS 50cm exhoust will have better performance on high Rpm? And high speed?

no with 50mm ss itīs better than with a 60mm exhaust, with 60 uīd have better perfomance only on high rpm!
if u want to have more power also on lower rpm iīd go for the 50 or 52mm exhaust!

Ooo yes I understand, but I like to get more power on high Rpm. Becouse when I race drag I gon't need power on low Rpm. But I should try with SS. :drink: Thanks mate

if you race and use the power only there than I would tell u to put the 60 exhaustt, but I think the 50 if u have it alrady at home itīs worth a shot! :)

Some guy bought the dyno machine in Macedonia. I visited him to see how mush BHP I have. And with good timming on my cams I got 159.6BHP and 167NM. I think that is good BHP for this mods. What do you think?
