Streamline induction kit.

Are they really worth the extra £££ on a bmc etc. Anybody fitted 1 or had 1 fitted just dont want any fitting problems?

I havnt persanally had one but meant to be the closest sounding induction kit to TBs.

in terms of performance then no. its one of those items if you have the money and want the best as its carbon then buy it. but money could be spent elsewhere where you would see better gains. you could have cams for that price.

i had a procompe as i wanted the best but i bought it second hand. id buy a cheaper kit, raceland, green etc

I have cams lol and im purchasing all of the other engine bay carbon so think it would suit with the induction aswel!

if you have other carbon itll match well
performance wise there pretty good
i think they have a bigger filter than most kits on the market

imo not worth the extra unless you purely want it for the look though

dont buy it mate. personnal not worth the extra money. had products from them before and work wasnt very good tbh, and didnt fit. get the bmc. seen how they work and tbh their not special. very arrogant wen i was there

I was driving a BMC on my VTS, was not what I expected, and now I have it out, now I have pipercros Viper, and I think that is the best. And no you will not going to have fitting problems it is simply.

Ive got one of the Procomp ones aswel which is what the streamline one is based on (they bought the old procomp moulds iirc)

It looks good in the engine bay but i certainly wouldnt pay the 'new' price for one. Got my procomp good condition 2nd hand

Performance wise im not a great believer that theres much difference in these aftermarket induction kits- afterall unless you make alterations to the slam panel to enable more air to get in, then you still have a very small 2inch x 2inch max hole in the slam panel which is all that can really get into the induction kit anyway.

Yeah, but its the most direct route to the throttle body, the carbon has better cooling properties over fibre glass just down to it being baked rather than laid. Personally if you make the engine bay look complete then go for it. Filter wise, i would go for either greens or piper for the best results.
As for streamlines work not being very good, wash your mouth out! Iv seen them throw away stuff that i would have put on my car, just cos it didnt reach their high quality control! Its all about rep in this world! Plus they are flexable on what you buy kit wise, theyre in the modding world and own/ build a 106 for fun!

Iv decided against it now as it would have worked out £450 new with green filter n brackets ordered 1 from ecosse instead. Streamlines customer service was very good from what iv experienced off them and bic was a top bloke ordered the rest of my carbon kit tho cant wait!
