Facts are, if you wish to make your own "Air Filter" you havnt got your head screwed on tightly enough to be thinking about a turbo.

For a good setup, with managemnt and all ready to run, be expecting to pay on the high side of 2-3k

For a VTS conversion, put aside around 4-700 quid.

Whats next anywho, are you going to make our yown cam lobes????

I recon probably use around 2000 cans or however many you can fit in your trouser pockets and some sort of hosing into the fuel line and you will see 500bhp to the wheels.

To see a gain of 1000bhp safely, spray two cans at the SAME TIME down the hosing.

To run decent boost you will have to basically uprate everything internally.

If you were actually serious, turbo the vts.

Oh and then pay for labour on top unless your going to commit and try it yourself, but the cardboard intercooler has got to go and so has that catch tank made out of parts of your old induction kit.

to be hoest i would go for a vts engine, then turbo that. i dnt see the point of torbocharging a vtr, you wanna start with the best engine that give u the most fower. well thats what i think anyways.

obvious at if your doing a vtr you would know at some point you would want to do a vts but then you can after that, half the fun of having the car is modding it, i could say id be well happy with my vtr boosted, least you can say youve got 1 fast vtr:y: looks nice too
