my mate got a peco centre section and back box for his 1.1, his insurance company wouldnt insure him with it on :wall:
was wondering if it would fit on my vtr? both cars are mark 2.
if i did put it on would it give any noticable performance gain or just make my car stupidly loud?
cheers for any help

should both fit on, backbox might look odd if it is specifically designed for a 1.1 as the VT* have a recess in the bumper, so it would sit under that and look a bit weird.! :A:

Yeah as docsamty said above it would hang lower than a normal VT exhaust would so it would look a bit silly, unless you had some work done to the hangers etc.

oh yeah didnt think about that, im not sure if the back box is 1.1 specific, would it have to be specific or is there one that fits both cars?
and is it likely to give me any more power? or just be stupidly loud and scream "look at me mr copper" ;)
cheers for the help anyway fellas

More of a burble from the exhaust, you can also carefully cut a piece out of the rear bumper then adjust the hangers & get the exhaust sitting higher.I would recommend fitting powerflex rubbers to due too the extra weight.
