Its the 98 bhp standard dude! ;)

how can you have a modded car to that standard and have no idea what its output is?

you need to get it on a dyno thats the only way of finding out, otherwise its a case of "how long is a piece of string"

Have you not got a good centre section and backbox on it mate? Only says decat manifold up there? I assumed that meant just a manifold as the 2001> have the cat in them dont they.

my vtr mk1 so the 90bhp (4-2-1 racland mani, super mid with decat and piper bbox and a service) got 113.9bhp at wheels so with newman cams and a good remap that would be alot.

yours all depends on how the engine is running internally to what bhp you have imo

WTF was it ran in 1st gear or something?? No way you could of got that mate, thats like roughly 140ish at the fly. So your saying you gained 50bhp with a manifold and exhaust?? Even 114bhp at the fly seems very high for an exhaust system....

LMFAO!!!!

Proof or you are lying!!! i will NEVER EVER EVER belive that unless you can proove it tbh!!

I had mine one last week.

90bhp silver top with 4-1mani, stright through centre section, peco rear box and a enclosed filter and a service 7k ago and it ran:

102.8bhp @ the fly & 88.3bhp @ the wheels, got the power graph if YOU want proof??

But let me guess, i bet you have lost your power graph?? lmao

lmao
and how did you come up with these figures? sorry mate but theres no way you could make that power with just those mods, i bet you wouldnt even make that at the wheels with a cammed vtr, a cammed vtr usually makes 120 to 125bhp at the fly so around 105 at the wheels maybe?

i have a 90bhp silvertop too with same mods as saxo_89 except i have piper backbox, not that its going to make a diff lol but i only made 103.3bhp at the flywheel on the rr a few months back, pretty much same as saxo_89

imo with cams your gonna be lookin at easily over 110bhp from the 98bhp versions

it is well known that the exhaust is the most restrictive part which is why on numerous occasions now ive seen people getting 108-110bhp from one thats got an induction kit, mani and full system

so if you're adding cams to that i dont see why 115-120bhp wouldn't be achieveable

Induction, manifold and exhaust would be a good investment. Chip...not so.

your better off loosing weight and changing OE parts that will affect ur speed around a track i.e suspension, breaks! whats the point of having 150bhp if you just gonna use it in a stright line?
