Induction kit with solid pipe

Anybody know a good induction kit that has a fixed solid cold air feed pipe attached to it so the induction cone is at the front of the engine instead of at the back for under £100?

A K&N 57i gen 2 might be worth a look. Or just buy an ordinary cone then buy the induction piping/silicone hosing seperate :y:

why not by a k&n and put the filter near the front behind the bumper or something then get sum pipework or ducting for a cheaper 1 and route the filtlered air back to the tb, i did this with my megane, had round fogs so i got an old half enclosed cone filter i had and fibreglassed it into where the fog used to be, then put a 90% bend on the tb and ducted the air from the filter to the bend, was an amazing power and sound incresae for what it was

the k&n gen 2 costs too much, raceland seems good, but where can i get one from?

Raceland and Green to my knowlage are the ones that use tho polished air intake in their ram scoops!

Or go for a raceland with green filter or just uprate the panel filter with better ducting. Best bang for your buck :y:

Could do, and i know i even said about the simota being worth waiting for. However when i was down at spooks motorsport in leicester a few months back getting some brakes fitted, we got talking about the best air intake mods to do to the 8v TU engines (bare in mind they do alot of stuff like this with their 205 track cars) and they recon that the best result on the 8v is indeed to uprate to a good high flow panel filter as this was what they had found to be best.

On the 16v engines they use enclosed induction kits.

thinkin of a panel myself as my induction on the vtr is wank, filters too big and it drags in to much hot air

Yeah, maybe but i want some nice sound aswell lol, so im thinkin enclosed simota will be best all rounder.

if your just lookin for something cheap there something on ebay with a really long induction pipe(aluminium i think) comes rite down to front of car with a daft open filter on, but im sure heyre going reall really cheap
