im sure if it was *realistically possible it would have been done by now
plus isnt having one big turbo better than a twin turbo anyway? i know alot of people do it with rx7's etc

no point really you might as well have one. not a big enough capacity engine to really need the air flow from two, could be done but i personally wouldnt do it.

Not much point its normally done on 6 or more cylinder engines as the exhausts either come out both sides of the engine or making a 6-1 etc. is hassle.

It wasnt that it was unrealistic, one turbo can be done so two cant be hard its just overkill mate.

It has been done but think it was an 8valve xsi engine with very low compression and small turbo's from a punto turbo, it was in maxpower a while back - i'll try and find a link/pictures, it was pretty mental and had a LOT of work done to run correctly!

To actually answer the question, it has been done before, by a company in italy. They spent in the region of 40k on it, ran 265bhp and did 0-60mph in just under 6 seconds.
If you think about it, you could run a single turbo or supercharger from a heavily modified vts engine and run the same figure or more for a fraction of that price.
I found a pic, but no detail and spec

What is the use of twin turbos? Anyone? I thought it was when you had say a V6 and the exhaust comes from 2 sides of the engine. Is there an advantage of twin turbo? less lag etc?
