might need the cambelt doing at that mileage. If it hasn't I'd get the following changed:
cambelt
water pump (may as well do it whilst the cambelt is off)
tensioner pulley (again maybe not needed but could replace it)
thermostat
Then for a GOOD service I'd change the following:
oil
oil filter
air filter
fuel filter
new coolant
new plugs
Worth noting, that at around that mileage my headgasket went, and have replaced a few headgaskets on cars from 60-70k.
Worth doing cambelt (and above parts), headgasket, and major service all in one. Just my opinion, if you can do it yourself would be ideal. Getting it done by a garage would cost ££££. Someone on here should be able to do it for you for less £££

Urm . . maybe £200-£300 ? I'm not sure to be honest as havn't had it done at a garage, have always done it myself. Paid £150 for a major service at Citroen just to get the stamp in my book, but done the rest myself.
Doing the service yourself would be easy to do. I'd recommend picking up a few spanners and doing it.
Pity you're not nearer Bristol as I'd do it for you for pennies really.
Well I suppose you have a comeback with a garage, but then if someone on here was to do it, I'm sure it would be done well, plus you can learn as they do it and you can do it next time. And also, the price would be different !!

hmm
what if i bought the cam kit myself off ebay, and got a garage or something to fit it...surely that would work out cheaper?

Not really, they'll pay about the same price for parts as you (they'll get trade price and add a bit) - its the labour you'll pay for.

Then shouldn't cost a lot.
A few weekends ago changed a sax-p members headgasket, cambelt, waterpump, tensioner pulley, termostat & give it a service for £120 - was a days work, from about 10 till 5.
I made a list of parts to get, then he got them and i fitted them all. Car started up first time, and run spot on.
If you put up a post in the east/west midlands section, someone will do it, maybe pm willsy as I think he does things and he's good.
I'm back to university in October in Loughborough, can do any work you want from the nonwards, as will be close to derby.
