VTS engine question

hi, i seen a post on here about a 16v conversion but i cant seem to find it on the search button. any way on that post i read about unlocking a ecu to fit a vts engine, can someone explain this a little more to me as i have another ecu which i would like to fit. im sure it said something along the lines of starting the engine and then removing a plug to another control unit maybe, then switching the engine off and it should be unlcoked.

also if someone knows the post could the post it on here for me as im looking at doing a vts conversion.

oh and one other thing the fuel return pipe as my vtr does not have one will i have to fit a vts fuel tank and return pipe?

the search button is 3 buttons along from the forum button on the top bar.

Your method for unlokcing the ECU is correct - just do the above in the car the ECU has come from.

Don;t understand when you talk about 'post' ??

You'll need to fit a return pipe, engine will run better.
