My car went in about 5 weeks ago for a engine conversion from a 1.4 to a 1.6 16v. They told me the engine went in fine etc. but they had problems with the loom matching the current car loom. Apparently it is because of on the vts there are many more wires that they need to figure out what they are before they can finish it. since then nothing has happened and they are waiting for something from china but im sure from reading other posts this isn't necessary.
The engine that came out was a Mrk2 2000 1.4, single plug ECU.
Changing to a single plug, 1.6 16v engine. (this came with the transponder key, Transponder pick up and immobilizer)
Im wondering if there is anything anyone knows that i can tell them to help them out or what i should do.
