You wont get 120bhp from a VTR engine for £400

Forget tuning your engine. Strip it of as much weight as you can and concentrate on the brakes and suspension

If i were you Id sell the lexus lights so you'll have 400.01p haha. only joking.

first of all i'd service it, you dont want to spend alot of money on your engine if its no good.
Then...
Good induction
New manifold
Exhaust- decat?
Strip it?

sounds like you should have sold your furio, saved the money from the vtr engine transplant and got your £400 and tried to get a vts. that way you would have had the speed but probably for the same money.

cheap and fast don't go.

you'll struggle to get a n/a vtr lump to 120 unless you spend £1000's.

as said, better brakes and suspension and remove excess weight.

I normally dont say this sort of thing, but for £400 you could get an s engine and thats the only way you can get 120bhp for £400
unless your handy with a welder and have an eye for a bargain lol

lol
i do have breaks and suspension but they were on there when i bought the car so i didnt list them

i got vented groved disks and some larger pads not sure wich ones because my bro done them ,
well ive surviced it feels alot quicker already but i want a bit more lol

what is the best mod i could do for a resonable price ?? im not very good at this stuff lol

what about cams ?? my car is SORN so i have nothing to pay for at the moment and it aint going anywere so i got time , i was thinking manifold , induction and cams ???

i would lose the rage exhaust and get a system designed for the saxo thats performance oriented
get some good induction
and a manifold
thats probably a little over 40 quid
youll see around 100ish on a good engine
cams ect will destroy your budget as youll need a remap on any cam worth using

get it stripped out buddy, improve the power to weight ratio, then upgrade the suspentio and brakes, like been said.

As said you want to be thinking about getting rid of as much weight as possible. Saving weight is free and if you can live without certain things/the noises etc than its a great way to go faster cheaper. Look at uprating your suspension and brakes as said previously aswel. Id say you would have to budget around £800-900 to cam an map your vtr
