Exhaust

My exhaust is a " magnex system, however when stood at traffic lights etc, you can smell the fumes quite alot.

I believe this is caused because I do not have a cat?

If this is right how much to get one put on, as this would surely fail on my MOT?

And if anyone has anymore ideas why this could be please share.

have you got an aftermarket induction kit? the breather hose could be leaking.

i have an induction kit, but the smell is from the rear of the car, MOT coming up and dont fancy failing lol

Have you checked your maifold? that could be leaking and the fumes could be coming through the air vents.

Have you Checked all the joins in the exhaust?

nothing yet, just asking for ideas before. Will get chance at weekend hoepfully.

If you have no CAT your car will fail an M.O.T

ok so if I dont have one, what can i do about it, fit one to my current set-up? how much?
