I have just managed to put a screwdriver through my K&N induction filter :oops: don't ask how i managed it ! LOL doe's anyone though where i can just buy the filter from and what part number it is ?

i wouldnt be that bothered about it tbh mate. Might make a wierd sound but wont be too bad. Some poeple dont even bother with filters! Think you have to buy the induction kit again though.

i've seen the cheaper filters on fleabay but im abit wary of them !! don't want any crap getting sucked in , maybe i might find another one with the right dia knocking about at a cheapish price ..

try the for sale section when ya can mate or ebay, and i wouldnt drive around with hole in the filter, a bit dodgy.

see even if your cant find another filter. a universal one will do the same thing as it. The only difference in the k&n kit is the pipes and things that come with it. You can pick a cone filter up for pennys on fleabay.

wrong: the K and N will give better filtration and allow more clean air through, the K and N is ALOT better other wise they wouldnt invest £££S in testing.

im hoping to stick to K&N as i have used them over the years on my old XR2 / Mexico etc !! any clue on what i should pay for the cone ?? CHEERS

to a point yes but unless you have oooober mods on your car your not going to notice the difference. However i see your point.

for a mint k&n cone your looking at about £30-£40 id say. depends on the cone however shapes, sizes etc.
I'm a pipercross man myself so hard to say exactly.
