Exhaust Dilemma??

Have currently got quite a problem regaurding the exahaust system im about to choose. Currently I have everything standard, but am looking for a new exhausts manifold, centre pipe and back box. This is what i am currently looking at: (All from Kam Racing)

Piper Stainless Steel 4-1 Mani - £331
Piper Stainless Steel decat centre pipe - £79
Piper Stainlees Steel 4" back box with 'slash cut' effect - £188

So for just under £500 would it be worth it for the extra gain in power or are there cheaper products on the market with the same perofrmance and low weight? Recommendations please

Wouldnt go the Piper route. Really expensive. As Mike said if money isnt a problem get a VTS engine :y:

there is nothing wrong with VTRs. westcoasts etc if we all had VTS's then it would be quite boring, one of the things i HATE about this forum is where everyone goes "just drop and S lump in" its annoying, why cant you jsut appreciate what engine you have normally, i like my VTR, and if i want more power then i will tune my VTR engine not put a VTS one in. RANT over...

well for a start the supersprint manifold is cheaper, same for the centre pipe. Then you could either look at a supersprint race backbox (coming into stock in about a weeks time)
or piper or similar....

Just get a cheaper 4-1 manifold. they all do the same job, dont just pay for a name.
