I measured mine a little while ago for the thread where everyone put pictures of their tail-pipes.
It's the same size as the vt bumper cut-out, so 6"x4"

Great stuff pal :y:
Contemplating getting a custom 2.5" bore exhaust made up at MIJ Exhausts in Walsall (http://www.mijexhaust.com/) as my purse wont stretch to the BTB cost :n:, all the reading up i've done suggest's they put them together to a high standard all of which is cheaper than the cost of a new Magnex would you believe, but having had a bad experience with Poorflow I am doubtful...

They look to do some good work on their website going by the cars they've done exhaust for ?
If they offer a lifetime guarantee on it, maybe ask to see an exhaust they are currently making up ?
Sounds worth it though

He's got a turbo so would want a larger bore setup hence going for BTB or custom

I would say around £300-£400 for a good quality one + will depend on the amount of silencers you have, if you have a cat etc.

Going by there website and little googling they have worked on all sorts (German, Japs etc etc), for the most part everyone drives away happy.
Thats a good idea, if/when I do decide to take the plunge I will ask to see a current job they are working on.
From the initial costing I've had over the phone its definatley worth a punt, more interestingly there keen on the idea of a owners club group-buy so watch this space ;), what makes this appealing is that they have the ability to do 5-6 all at once so this could turn into a 'car meet / group-buy' :y:

Hoping to get a better pricing than the above for a group-buy would you believe, keep an eye open :panic:

Sounds good, if you can get them to do a 3" system then ;)
Also the single tailpipe on the second row down on the far left looks ideal:http://www.mijexhaust.com/exhaust-range.html

They do indeed do a 3" diameter bore system, will keep you posted as thats on my list of questions :y:, how that size would be routed under the car is beyond me thou
Do you mean this tailpipe design: -

^ ^ ^ Yeh, looks a spot on tailpipe
3" would be tight routing under the car - might get more interested in a 3" system for people looking at over 300bhp'ish ?
I'll keep my eyes peeled anyway ! :y:
