View Full Version : too quiet :(

Just fitted my brand new piper 3" outward rolled backbox, i only baught the backbox as lacking of funds will be getting manifold n centre section soon but will be a couple of months. Once i fitted it i realised it was super quiet only a small change in sound which kinda sucks but i must say it does looks the dogs imo. Will it be a louder once it gets a bit 'worn in' and if so will it be dramatically or will i continue to be dissapointed (until the rest of the exhaust is fitted)?
Thanks for any help,
Wez

18th February 2009, 22:04
do u guys think i should get manifold or centre section first?
Liam_
18th February 2009, 22:07
Go for centre section first then decide if you want more noise or not. I've got a manifold and Piper system with middle box on my VTR and it's pretty loud at the best of times. Linky (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JomFG0yQDuw).
