i had problems with a janspeed 4-2-1 manifold one that was on a vtr and might have just been a dodgy one.went for gmc 4-1 in the end and was pleased i changed.its just personal preferrance really.if im right i think a 4-2-1 helps at lower revs and a 4-1 is felt more at higher revs.hope this helps

Its a good manifold. It hangs a little low though as it has very long secondary tubes.

for £80 i would get it. The janspeed manifolds work really well.

i think you will have to change the oil filter and thread for a mk1 version

i got mine direct from janspeed and went to fit and it didnt fit at all.they said it was the right one and all that.if you are getting it second hand.as in it has been on a saxo the same as yours then it should be fine because it has fitted and worked properly.if they are selling it as brand new.chances are theres a reason their selling having never run it on their car

did you have the one with the sports cat? thats the one for the mk2

if fitting the 4-2-1 without cat to a mk2 then you have to change the oil filter and thread as per the raceland.
