fuel filter direction??

i gave the sax a service today new plugs oil etc..basically i need to kno if i put the fuel filter on the right way i got it so the arrow is facing towards the rear end of the car is this right?? its an 03 vtr...

I'm fairly sure it's the same for all Saxo's / 106's... The arrow should point towards the 'U' shaped fuel line. IIRC, that means it points towards the rear, as the fuel line u-turns back up to the engine bay.

good glad i got it right almost every other car ive fitted them to have the arrow facing the front of the car nice 1 mate...

Arrow points towards the rear of the car definitely, caught me out when I first done it on a Saxo, I spent hours trying to get the car started :n:

You can't really go wrong if the exit on the filter links to the fuel pipe going to the front of the car, lol. Also alot of filters, if you put them on the wrong way around wont fire up, so you'd soon know.
