hi all i have a vts year 1999 i was looking at my engine the other day and i recognised that i have not got a lambda sensor plugged in , i thought this was strange as the car runs sweet as a nut and has no idleling problems and my car has just recently pass mot emissions too. is a lambda worth getting fitted if my car is running alright, i thought if you didnt have a lambda your idle would be all over the place, correct if im wrong :)

If you have a MK1 VTS you will have one lambda sensor, if you a MK2 VTS you will have two of them. You won't have none.

yes my vts has the mk 1 engine , it should have 1 lambda , min is missing. theres no lambda plugged in which should go to the exhaust manifold. its the plug asif you were facing the throttle body from the front of the car there is a plug but no lambda connected.
