Ideas please.

Had VTS conversion professionally done Jan 08, fully rebuilt engine etc inc new s1 rallye box/clutch vts driveshafts etc etc..

Been running spot on since, only covered approx 10k and serviced every 4k, warmed up (oil) before taking it above 3000rpm. Always well maintained, however noticed last month seems to be underperforming, doesn't pick up aswell or pull from 5000rpm as hard.

Any suggestions??. Had it into motorsport garage for various checks, no real problems found!

I'm confused?!? ;(

Maybe you've just got used to the power? Get it on the rolling road to see the profile of the power graph, might be smoothball way to recline, or might drop off over 5k.

Ill have to get it on the rollers see whats going on, anyone got a graph with a spot on curve that can show me how it should be :).

I meant like see how the power is delivered over the revs, where it peaks and drops off

if you do a search theres a thread on here about peak power over rpm, that might help.

Give your sensors a clean, my faulty MAP slowed mine down - once fixed it felt brill again.

Also if you have an aftermarket air filter give it a clean, most folks tend to leave em out.

try changing the fuel filter and like ste said check the air filter

had it on the rollers today, came out at fly 134bhp @ 6500rpm, and wheels 105bhp @ 6500rpm.

Can't understand it?!.. Car just doesn't seem to pick up or climb through the revs as hard, feels really gutless.

Any other suggestions??

cheers
