Hii there ppl!

Im going 2 buy a 1998 saxo vtr with the mk1 engine init which has a hole in the block.:n:

Ive got 2 options which is to fit the same engine in the car a mk1 or fit a newer 100bhp mk2 engine due to the power increase and getting more miles 2 the gallon due 2 the high miles i drive.

How easy isit 2 do this 2 my saxo? How easy isit 2 fit the 3 pin ecu aswell??

Cheers ppl :zainy:

you will need the full wireing loom to all bhind the dash and fuse boxs and clocks etc etc its going to be a lot easier just to put another black top vtr lump in it with a single plug and get the extra bhp by filter and exhaust etc i have just done my mk2 1.1 to a vtr engine and its ok if its a 3 pin ecu and you use the 1.1 wireing loom with vtr ecu it works

So would it be worth putting a mk2 engine in???
Because its gnna be a straight swap from a smashed mk2 into my mk1 shell. Was thinkin bout swaping the dash.

Anyone done this before???

Is there a guide sumwer or any tips??:panic:
