Good mods to start with are breathing mods:
> Induction kit ( prefarebly enclosed )
> Ported and polished throttle bodie
> good catback exhaust system
> 4-1 or 4-2-1 performance manifold
Take a look at KAM RACING mate. :y: hope this helps.

Before you start modding it i would recommend simple car maintenance jobs.
Rust removal, rust protection, full service, replace any badly worn parts etc.

tbh if you gonna be modding a old car you wanna be replacing the suspension, bushes etc all running gear make it feel new again , combat any rust maybe even replace the engine and you have yourself a decent car again!

To sum up for you mate...
1. Full engine service
2. replace suspension ( with uprated components if possible )
3. Breathing mods:
> Induction kit ( prefarebly enclosed )
> Ported and polished throttle bodie
> good catback exhaust system
> 4-1 or 4-2-1 performance manifold
Thats a good start then once you have done all that, cams and a remap. Then if you want to go even further Throttle Bodies, Turbo or supercharger :y:
Lastly get in touch with the user on here ( spencercammedvts ) he will port nd polish your TB for £26. :y: great service from my experience.

theres never too late. My 205 was on 140k when I started to convert it for racing,
My BMW is on 204000 miles and i'm still modifying away. Fitted a Bilstein B12 kit and more recently carbone lorraine brake pads...

nah, mileage is nothing in the newer cars, aslong as it has atleast a part service and has been looked after itl run for a good while yet, for example, my dad has had a 1.6 astra since new, its a T reg, has been looked after well and has been fully serviced since we got it, its got 120-130k on the clock and still runs like new

its on your inlet manifold and it has the butterfly in it which adjusts how much air is let into our engine.
