Hey just wondering is there any oversized pistons that wud fit into a Saxo VTS Block like if i got the block bored out bigger is there any Biggerp istons out of another citroen i.e Xsara 1.8 VTS would they fit on the standard saxo conrods or is it a waste of time and it aint gunna happen thanks

and can get the kit from cituning looking at over 2k though.

Would just stick some newmans ph3 cams in and get a remap imo.

The bore walls are thin on the TU5J4 engine, you dont want to be boring it to 1800 thats for sure.

The xara engines are not TU anyway so chances of fitting any parts are slim.

okay thanks guys hehe :) in the end i wanna turbo or supercharge it but atm till i can save 2/3 grand i am just guna run it maybe try make it up to about 200bhp N/A what do you guys recon i can do to get it running around that ?

200bhp NA = spending ALOT more than 2-3 grand thats for sure lol.

ohh okay lol whats best spec to have before fitting a CITUNING Stage 1 Turbo Conversion Kit Onto the TU5J4 Engine ? and what kinda power output would i be looking at ?

you dont want to be going high spec NA if going boost, as its totally different cams and pistons required.

NA is high compression wild cams
boosted is low compression, not so lairy cams in most cases.

wichever car has more power will win in a straight line to an extent.

if you have a very high powered peaky n/a engine that has say 210bhp with standard gearbox then a 200bhp turbo engine on standard gearbox then the turbo car would win everytime.
