VTS Full exhaust system sounds???

I have just bought my second MK1 1999 Treg Saxo VTS.. I prefer the head lights!;) My first one was written off about a year ago by some silly old woman. Anyway i'm just about to buy a s/steel full system for it but not sure which one to go for. On my previous VTS i had a the piper system with the 4" Slash cut tail with a Green cotton forced air filter on the front. The power gains were great but i wasnt a big fan of the sound.. it was very raspy and wet sounding, sounded like a cheap boy racer.. this time im looking for a deeper, meatier noise. If anyone has a clue what sounds im talking about then please advise!!:wacko: Cheers :hug:

The piper was a decat by the way and the next one will be aswell whatever i end up getting!:)

i got a magnex straight through including de-cat and a supersprint mani, this gives of a nice deep tone on low revs and a nice noise when pushing it and not very boy racer'ish at all.

Piper sound like angry wasps on VTS'. What about a Magnex?

if i get a performance exhaust.. i don't want an asbo every time i drive the bugger.

its either a supersprint or raceland mani... i'll be getting.

ive got a scorpion dual exit an decat an it sounds deep an not to loud with a raceland mani its decent was pleased with the results

Well I'm selling it so am a bit biased. . . . . .

I used to have a 4" piper exhust, supersprint centre section, and a boxed de-cat, with a stainless manifold and sounded awesome !!!

are right the centre section i would have bought it if i was buying jus the piper backbox but its the full system

I'm selling a supersprint centre section, and a boxed de-cat to quieten things down a little and try and keep torque up.

Nice one guys, had a look a magnex, dont really like the tail pipes tho, bit to small and boring.. was thinkin of goin with a bigger tail pipe.. like 5" slash cut or maybe bigger!:oops: Does anyone know much about Powerflow exhausts fitted to VTS's??:dweeb:

As said in other thread mate, they're a bit up and down are Powerflow jobbies.

Supersprint Magnum has a fairly big tailpipe.
