Steam cleaning

Not sure wether ive put this in the right place or not. sorry if it should be in styling.

my engine is well to put it nicely a mess it looks horrible all covered in crud n crap from the last 11 years. if i take to get it steam cleaned it will clean all this off but what about my electrics?? iis it going to damage them??

cover them up with cling film and plastic bags :y:

as above cover it all up, even remove the battery if you can. and yer if its done well it will clean all the shit off your engine and out the bay

wen you have had it steam cleaned spray the connection with wd40

And keep the engine running whilst its being cleaned too, go somewhere you have heard good about and make sure they use a hot water jet wash not just stick a normal one in the bay

Yea, i took my astra for 'Steam' cleaning and the bastards just jet washed it.

Took 3 days to get it running right with the ammount of pressure they put through the poor thing im suprised it didnt pop.
