im about to buy a silvertop vtr engine to put in my 52 plate furio,
would i need the wiring loom or any other parts to make this work?

Engine loom. and unlock the VTR ECU alternativley get the transponder ignition barrel and key off the car the VTR came from and use it with the vtr ECU locked.

the vtr engine is coming with the ecu for it, would i still need the transponder and the key? also would my furio gearbox be ok on it?

i think it will be fine mate.. im sure they work quite well. ive got a furio but gonna put a vts engine in :D

i was going to put a vts engine in mine, but getting the vtr engine for £50 so may aswell have it, just hope a dont have to buy any other parts

Furio gearbox will be fine on it, theyre pratically the same.
If you dont have the transponder, key, ignition barrel then you will need to unlock your ECU for it to work with your exsitin key etc.
If you get the key etc that ws with the VTR engine and ECU then you just replace them few bits.
