peoples honest opinion on here is it worth putting cams n 4-2-1 mani on to an engine thats already got 94k on it or should i seve and buy a lower mileage engine and do it to that 1? me engine now already has a new clutch and gearbox

If it has been properley maintained and serviced then it should be i alright. Yorkie has just hit 150,000 miles and his is still running spot on :y:

Do a full service first

Then i reccomend you start with:

> induction kit
> exhaust system ( look at supersprint )
> decat
> manifold

Then cams and a remap ( reccomend PH3s )

well just check the engine over make sure everything still good, but if it been service and maintained porperly then it should be ok, would say change the followers for good measure thought. maybe the value springs.

just have to check it and make sure everything ok with the engine.

compression test it, will give you a good idea of engine condition.

yorkies is a vtr- different engine

nij put a vts engine in his spaxo that had 98k on it. that was then cammed and had head work done so it can be done if done properly. PM him about it
