Depends on the cam you go for. It will vary from work fine to will destroy it self. See your local ish who are you getting to do the work for you?

As said, depends on the cam, it may be ok, or may be lumpy on idle, and the power mightent be as much as it could be. Find out what type of cam it is :y:

It doesnt really need a remap, its only mild. So it will be ok without.

power gains wont be very impressive though.

what sort of gains are you looking at on a 90 bhp slivertop

JamesR

you may gain 10bhp

not a very good cam imo

PH1 doesn't require a remap as it's a very mild cam. Results will vary depending on what the condition of the engine is, other mods etc.

will be fine you shouldnt even notice anything with the running of it. obviously the drive should be a little bit faster but not by much

well the car has 95k(98reg) on it , but in feb this year the cam was fitted along with head skimed and a new cambelt would this helping the engine regain some of its youth lol

yes a little. also you could.

> full engine service to start
> good induction kit
> catback exhaust system
> decat
> manifold
> port and polish throttle bodie

etc and you could then get a PH3 cam and a remap.
