Heya,

stuck a K&N filter into my standard VTR airbox earlier but I dont know where/how to start on a cold air feed.

Done some searches on here but they all seem to be on MK2 engines and with induction kits.

engine is this one:

I'm guessing its the black pipe going to the front grill, whats the best place to take out a custom feed, the ribbed rubber bit on the middle or rip it all out and put it straight into the airbox?

Pics and tips/advice would be very welcome!

the plastic pipe going from the airbox to the front of the car is a cold air feed.
and it is heat resistant plastic so you will not gain anything by messing about with the feed u might even loose bhp through heat soak.
so i would just leave it alone as it already has a scoop from the frount of the car as standard.

they have better heat resistant properties in comparison to a thin aluminium cold air feed
