MAX VTR BHP

Hi all
Does anybody know the max horse power your likely to get out of a VTR without putting a turbo on it?

Without a turbo? so supercharger is allowed? Throttle bodies allowed? More detail.

The most would then relate directly to your wallet

no i mean without turbo or supercharger without any kind of forced air induction.

most out of a vtr to my knowledge that had throttle bodies etc was 123 at the wheels. Someone might have more now but you will never get massive gains from NA

the last rolling road i used said mine has 133bhp at the fly which i though was ok for the money its cost me, but i did all the work myself so no labour. i will be going back at the begining of 2006 with hesslevtr cause i have done a couple of small mods since then so we will see what happeds. smileys/smiley4.gif

Mate of mine is running 140bhp off a mk2 VTR with stuff like.... port and polishing, 10 hours remapping, full magnex system and a few others!

he's also got an extra 100bhp of NOS, pushing him to 240bhp, gotta love that laughing gas! smileys/smiley4.gif

to get the 140bhp, im sure its just high lift cam, porting and polishing, remapping, magnex full syetem and lots of cold air! smileys/smiley2.gif

i know lots of people have been on boasting big bhp with no proof, the only proof i can give u is that ive seen his rolling road day results! 140 bhp without nos and 240 with nos! i may have missed something out but its £6000 of work!

100bhp nitrous jet does not give you an extra 100bhp. that's Max Power figures. more likely gives an extra 70-80. and like everyone i'd like to see graphs of that 140bhp please smileys/smiley2.gif smileys/smiley17.gif
