Best cams for vtr mk2???

wanna get cams before i get remap which is a pain in the ass getting done living here in dublin(help please)

but which are the best cams and price??
budget from £300-£500

i know very little about the vtr.
catcams/newmans to name a few.
use search,read up do your homework.make your own mind up as to what cam suits you and your tune/spec of engine.

read up m8, but i have the newman ph3, if you getting a remap this is your best cam, good power increase and its a budget cam so not a great cost, you could easily buy and get fitted if you know a good mechanic for the 500, could do cheaper or fit yourself? what engine do you hve? 90bhp or 98bhp? if you have the 90 id look into an s1 rallye inlet also

fitting jus the s1 inlet will not fail your mot, and as for cams it depends what your looking for and what your buget is? also if you can fit the cams yourself?

if yours is mk 2 youl either have silver top 90bhp or silver top 98bhp, 90bhp has the dipstick on the right hand side of block front, 98 has it further on the left hand side of the front, also the 90 has metal oil filter, 98 has plastic 1 in plastic housing

if its gunna be tht hard it mitght be worth looking into a ferry trip to and get the predator standalone on the group buy when its all sortin? or looking into gettin 1 mapped to a car with the same spec and posted to you? wont be as effective as having it fitted and mapped on your car but wont be too far off? far as im aware the predator is plug and play?
