Yes but you will never see the full potential of a cam without a proper remap by a specialist.

Catcams make one for the vtr which doesnt need any internal mods or a re-map and you will see a gain.

They also make one that doesnt need and internal mods but would require a map to run properly and surely this is the one to buy as you will see a far better result without having to modify everything else inside your engine. Will cost for a map but think of the benefit from spending a few hundred extra.

Kent cam PT30 and PT40 will run well on the standard map.

just had a look forgive me if im thick lol but theres 2, 1 with a roller rocker arm and 1 without, ive got a 2001 silvertop VTR, what 1 would be the 1 to go for ,cheers

Silver top engine has roller rockers.

i know its not a vtr but
i have 708s in my 16v without a map

small gain, runs fine
no doubt it will run alot better when its mapped tho
