4-1 harder to find, cituning do one but only for straight through mid sections.. aimed at track cars

i think 4-2-1 gives more mid range, and 4-1 gives more more top end

I think 4-1 is more for higher rev power and 4-2-1 is for low down rev power :y:
EDIT: SaXo_vtr123 beat me to it!

ah well if thats the case then the 4-2-1 would be the one for me.

Yeah they are what most people go for :y:
Try Kam Racing, they have a nice selection :y:

neither a 4-2-1 or a 4-1 will give you extra power over the other design if they are a good make and well designed.
Thats not their job.
Its not about how much power you will make but where that power will be.
For a standard or fast road camshaft profile, you want a manifold to enhance the mid range so a 4-2-1 is best.
For a more race orientated camshaft profile the powerband will be moved up the revrange so a 4-1 will work best at high revs so will complement the camshaft choice.
