Want a nissens rad for vts engine, where can i get them from apart from 106parts because i hear they take the pi55 with delivery on some parts as they come from abroad on order.

Or are they fine to use for their rads?

Purchased mine from the same place, delivered to my door within 3 days.

Im guessing its the ybracing side where people are waiting weeks for delivery.

I got mine from www.myparts.co.uk. They didnt have it on the website, but I emailed them and they got it in for me in a couple of days. Was for a HDI.

Cheers,

Paul.

I bought mine from a seller on ebay and it came in 2 days!

Well worth buying if only from an aesthetic point of view!

I got mine within 5 days from 106parts.

They are quality rads, my oil temp gets hotter before my water temp now! I drove to leciester the other weekend and the water temp needle only raised about a mm!

I tried 106parts, heard some stories, found myparts and they gave me a better price :)

I use them for any of my pug bits now.

I dont use ebay much as there are so many dodgy sellers on there! more trouble than it's worth!

Sorry to go a bit of topic but there isnt any point starting a new thread!

Im doing a vts conversion and just wondering if you guys would reccommend me buying one of these? Are they just replacements that work alot better than standard?

The benefit of them over a standard one is that the Nissens ones are Aluminium so they cool much better.

cheers,

Paul.

Ive got a nissens rad for my conversion, aparantely out of a vts, but its the same size as my vtr one. am going to swap it anyway, just wondered if the rads are different sizes between r and s? It was dirt cheap so cant complain either way..
