whisling and squeaking

when i pull off or drop below around 2000 rpm there is a whisle from the engine can anyone help?

definately from your engine and not your speakers??

could be the fan belt mate, when was the last time you checked it?

it may need changeing have a feel of it and see if you can feel if its cracked, if it feels fine then it may just need tightening

does it squeak when you pull away? or is it when your idle / below 2000 rpm

both idle and at low revs
