i started a thread a little while ago asking if having the inside of my inlet mani cleaned would give better throttle response free up the revs etc...well i gave it a go yesterday took it off and used some degreaser and a scrubbing brush at first then gave it a steam clean and couldnt believe the amount of gunk and crap that came out i let it dry and put it back on this morning and i can definatly say what a difference its made theres a big improvement in accelaration which was very noticable in the higher gears 3rd to 5th...maybe a little mod some of you could have a go at it made a difference to my engine nothing amazing but it works.....

fit a catch tank so no oil vapour goes into the inlet manifold and it'll stay cleaner

Couldn't agree more. After fitting an InterCooler to my turbo car.. i wish they made the car with a catch tank :wall:
