Was wondering what you guys think a rough power estimate would be running my spec when finished:

spec:

vtr engine
forged wossner low comp pistons
forged wossner rods
piper turbo spec cam
competition bearings
forge intercooler
apexi avcr
dp engineering turbo kit with gt28r turbo
helix aluminium flywheel
4 paddle clutch
vtr box rebuilt with quaife atb lsd
2.5 inch custom exhaust

if i was running this spec at 15 psi, what do you think a realistic power figure at the fly would be?

Cant really say, thers too much that can effect power.

I started off thinking it'd be a turbo spec and around the 200bhp mark but looking at that I'd say nearer the 300bhp atf mark.

I was thinking around 250 to the fly so 300 sounds great to me!!!

Do you think i could run more than 15 psi reliably?

Try out 16 psi and see if its ok. Then just build it up :y:

Dont push it too far though, or things may go bang.

Is the Apexi doing the fuelling? Piggybacking onto the standard system? Controlling 4 larger injectors in the standard position, or extra injectors? I'm assuming it can only adjust the basic fuelling, and not ignition timings etc?

Don't think i've ever heard of a boosted 8v getting very close to 200@wheels.
I'd like to see it get 250+@fly. Realistically i'd guess about 200-220@fly.

Should be an awesome torque figure though :D

There will be 4 larger injectors in the standard position, your correct the apexi will not control ignition timing, there will be a standalone ecu from jamsport!
